The Cairns Airport bus operates a daily shuttle for passengers wanting to travel from and to the Cairns Domestic and International airport to accommodation.

To travel on the Cairns Airport shuttle bus, you must make a booking and payment is required prior to travel via PayPal. To make a bookings simply go to the booking page and provide all the required information.
Alternatively a Reservations Agent can make the booking on your behalf between 08:30 and 17:30 seven (7) days a week. NOTE a booking fee of AUD$5.00 will apply and a payment request through PayPal will be emailed for you to make payment. We do not take credit card details over the phone. Failure to make payment within the required time period will result in the cancellation of the booking request and the quote will be invalid.
Prices for multiple passengers are based on passengers travelling at the same time. Should you wish to travel at difference times and/or dates separate bookings must be made.
Cairns Airport Shuttle Bus Booking Process
Coral Sea Coaches operates an online booking system, making it as simply as possible for you to make a booking 24/7. Reservations Agent can make the booking on your behalf between 08:30 and 17:30 seven (7) days a week. Please do not call us to reconfirm bookings and/or check you pickup time. We do not reconfirm bookings nor provide information (including pickup times) about bookings over the phone. You will need to refer to the booking confirmation email issued within 12 hours of you making your booking. We recommend you print a copy to take on your trip.
To ensure the booking system calculates correctly, when entering the Pick up and Drop off locations simply start typing in the location i.e. Cairns Airport and then click on it from the auto list. If not selected from the auto list, the booking system will not work and the booking will be invalid. NOTE surcharges apply to booking that require transfers before 07:00 and/or 16:45. As the booking system does not factor in the transfers times, we will email you for payment when surcharges are payable and provide instructions as to how the surcharge is to be paid. Should surcharges not be paid within required time period the booking will be cancelled.
The list of drop off /pick up locations for each area can be viewed on the locations page. Basically drop off and pick up points are accommodation providers i.e. hotels, resorts, backpackers and transit terminals (Airport and bus station). You do not have to be staying at the accommodation provider to be dropped off/picked up at that point. Requests to be dropped off at locations other than one that your booking is confirmed as can and maybe refused. Requests to be dropped off a private address will be refused.
As we require your flight details, you do not need to advise use if you are travelling domestic or international i.e. JQ 966, VA 1413, QF 2479 or TT 949. In the pickup and drop off location list simple choose Cairns Airport and in your confirmation email we will confirm domestic or international terminal. It is your responsibility to provided correct flight number/s and time/s. We allocate you to shuttles bus transfer times according to the information you provided. Provide incorrect information can result in you missing your transfer.
Once we have received your website booking request and confirmation of payment from PayPal we will email you a confirmation email within 12 hours. You will need the confirmation email to board the bus. If you have not received an confirmation email within that period please let us know.
Payment is required via PayPal for all bookings and must be received prior to travel. Please note cash payment bookings will be refused. Should you call reservations to make a booking on your behalf a booking fee of AUD$5.00 will be payable and the standard rates will apply.
Booking Payment via PayPal
Payment for all bookings is required at time of booking or prior to travel via PayPal. Methods of payment offered by PayPal are credit card, debit card or bank account.
You DO NOT need to have a PayPal account to make a payment. Simply click on 'Pay with credit/debit card' under the heading ‘Choose a way to Pay’ and payment can be made by Visa or MasterCard.
PayPal accounts are only required if you wish to make a payment using your bank account or your credit/debit card is linked to an existing PayPal Account.
Travelling to Cairns Domestic and International Airport
For transfers to the airport, Coral Sea Coaches requires passengers to be waiting at the pickup location 10 minutes prior to the advised pickup time. To ensure you check in for your flight on time we recommend a minimum travel time to the airport as follows:

As Coral Sea Coaches vehicles are classified as buses, under the Transport Operations (Road Use Management – Road Rules) Regulation 2009, it is not the responsibility of the driver to ensure that passengers are wearing a seatbelt, irrespective of age. A passenger aged 16 or above is required to wear a seatbelt if the bus is fitted with passenger seatbelts. The passenger may face fines and loss of demerit points if they do not wear a seatbelt where one is available. A bus is defined as a vehicle with 13 or more seats, including the driver.
The vehicle used for the shuttle/seat-in-coach service is a bus and child retraints are not required. A bus that has 13 or more seats does not need to be fitted with seatbelts and child restraints are not required. When travelling in the bus without approved child restraints, the child must not be seated in the front row of seats.

Coral Sea Coaches ability to accommodate requests for child restraints and child seating is subject to the availability and scheduling of the vehicle.
Unaccompanied Children 14 years and under will not be permitted to travel with Coral Sea Coaches unless prior written approval is received from Coral Sea Coaches. Children and infants When children and infants travel with accompany parents/adults on Coral Sea Coaches, it is solely the parent/adult’s complete responsibility to ensure that children and infants are securely and safely seated within the vehicle. Coral Sea Coaches vehicles do not carry nor can they fit child or baby specific seats in the vehicles.
Coral Sea Coaches allows per passenger either one large suitcase/bag (H 77cm / W 49cm/ D 32cm) OR one medium suitcase/bag (H 67cm / W 45cm/ D 28cm) and one cabin bag (H 54cm / W 37cm/ D 20cm). Any additional and/or other items will be charged at AUD$10.00 per item each way when the transfer is between Holloways Beach and White Rock areas. Any additional and/or other items will be charged at AUD$20.00 per item each way when the transfer is pass Holloways Beach to Port Douglas. Any additional and/or other items will be charged at AUD$25.00 per item each way when the transfer is pass Palm Cove to Port Douglas.
Passenger/s with oversized and/or excess luggage must email Coral Sea Coaches at least 48 hours prior to travel to advise that extra items are to be carried and payment for oversized/excess luggage must be received at least 24 hours prior to date of travel. Failure to advise Coral Sea Coaches of additional items may result in the carriage of the said items being declined. Oversized and excess luggage can include but not limited to babycots, prams, fishing rods, golf bags and bike bags/boxes.
CHANGE AND/OR AMENDMENTS TO BOOKINGS
Coral Sea Coaches will endeavour to accommodate changes to date and time of travel requests, but Coral Sea Coaches has sole discretion and no obligation to change. The purchaser of the ticket and the passenger understands and accepts there may be occasions when Coral Sea Coaches will need to amend the scheduled pick up time due to scheduling conflicts. The purchaser of the ticket and the passenger understands and accepts any changes/amendments to the bookings must be requested by email or SMS message a minimum 24 hours prior to scheduled transfer. The purchaser of the ticket and the passenger understands and accepts Coral Sea Coaches will limit the requests for changes/amendments of the booking to two (2), any additional changes/amendments can incur an amendment fee of AUD$15.00 per change/amendment or the forfeit of the transfer.
The purchaser of the ticket and the passenger understands and accepts a request to Coral Sea Coaches to change/amendment the booking from a return transfer to a oneway transfer is at Coral Sea Coaches sole discretion and Coral Sea Coaches has no obligation to change/amend the booking. The purchaser of the ticket and the passenger understands and accepts such changes/amendments to the booking must be requested by email or SMS message a minimum 24 hours prior to scheduled transfer time. The purchaser of the ticket and the passenger understands and accepts Coral Sea Coaches may impose an administration fee of AUD$15.00 for the change/amendment of the booking from return to a oneway transfer. The purchaser of the ticket and the passenger understands and accepts Coral Sea Coaches will impose the relevant oneway transfer rate to the booking.
Coral Sea Coaches requires change of travel date and time requests to be made in the form of an email to email@example.com. The request must be received at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled time of pick up for the booking. The request must clearly state the new requested time and date of travel. The new requested time and date of travel must not be less than 12 hours of Coral Sea Coaches receiving the email request.
Coral Sea Coaches understands that your situation may change and will endeavour to accommodate changes, but Coral Sea Coaches has sole discretion and no obligation to change. Notice of cancellation must be received either by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
WebSaver Bookings are non-refundable, regardless of when notification of cancellation is received; and/or Notification of cancellation received for return bookings when the initial schedule transfer has been completed or the passenger/s fail to board at the scheduled initial transfer time, a cancellation fee of the total transfer cost will apply.
